STARTED MARCH 2026 : another scarf
Can't stop making scarves !!! I'm working on a sort of Sophie scarf (sort of because I'm too cheap to buy the pattern so I'm just winging it).
I had only one skein of this really great discontinued wool and was looking for one skein projects. Also I wanted to protect my neck because I caught the flu, and my big scarf was too big to wear at work. I got really good at making discreet inscreases and decreases but I'm struggling a bit with the edging..

This is my first project ever ! I made a long scarf, in stockinette stitch and with ribbed ends.
My mom gave me this yarn a few years ago in a shawl kit but I don't wear shawls. Instead of storing the yarn and feeling guilty about not using it I thought I'd make something out of it and a scarf seemed like a perfect beginner project to figure out tension, pace, begginer stitches... I love it because I don't have to count stitches so I can just mindlessly knit while watching my girlfriend play the witcher 3.
